Recorded late in 1959, the lineup is the strongest of his career with a young dueling John Coltrane on tenor sax, a complimentary Cannonball Adderley on alto sax, Bill Evans on piano, Jimmy Cobb drums, and Paul Chambers bass. Essential and recommended.
